Blonde Iranians
The Drudge Report has on its front page the picture below, with a byline about the battle between the freedom of the Internet and censorship attempted by the Iranian government.
The current election dispute involves one party, which lost, whose color is ‘green’. Here is the picture:
Of the millions of pictures available of millions of Iranians, is this really one? How many blonde Iranian women are there?

Yeah, actually it is more common than you think to have blonde hair in Iran…
Iranians on average tend to have either brown or black hair, but blonde hair is still noticeable, especially among the young children. In fact, I would say about 30-40% of Iranian children do have blonde hair, but they get darker as they get older.

Iranians are diverse in colour, and yes actually MANY of them are blonde.

Notice the diversity in colour (skin colour, hair colour and eye colour). There are much more fair-looking people among Iranians than many foreigners think.

I think the image captures perfectly the anger of Iranians. The fact that she is blonde isn’t important really. If nothing else, it’s an example of what many in the west don’t know about Iran. If it’s a dye job, then that too should be understood about Iranians. They’re more cosmopolitan than their western counterparts really. How many girls in the U.S. are looking risque yet risking jail or death? These women in Iran are real women.
